maybe this is lame and boring but my headcanon for sisko going off and exploring being a god is that he can actually control when he comes back/can pop in and out of linear time and after a week (station time obv, for him it’s been like hundreds of years) he just starts milling around in his uniform so people catch glimpses of him and are like “sometimes i miss captain sisko so much i think i see him walking around 😔” and after a few days of that he just shows back up in his office and when kira walks in there he’s like “hey. why’d you move my baseball”

“Face turn” doesn’t imply the person is saved or redeemed, and doesn’t imply an end that you get to where redemption is all done forever.

All it talks about is which direction a character is headed.
