anyone else seeing ‘blank’ posts on their dash? with the text blending perfectly with the background so that it has to be copy/pasted to be read?

now my bio isnt showing up. it’s there when i try to edit, so it hasn’t been erased. it just isn’t showing up

anyone else seeing this? @staff ?

@staff could you please fix whatever makes my dash randomly jump back to the top when I switch back from another app? I get so tired of scrolling back down to where I left off. It’s really my only complaint about tumblr these days! (android mobile)

Okay, I’m not sure what mobile device you’re using, but I generally browse tumblr on my ipad… Basically, at the bottom of any tumblr post there are the options of the arrow (message), comment, reblog, and like. If I tap the ‘message’ arrow, there is an option along the bottom under the names, do I want to message, tweet the link, share on facebook, and there’s a ‘more’ option which includes “Add to Reading List.” The Reading List is accessible in safari, and basically will save any site (fic, usually) I want to check out later.

But I think you use an android device, so, um, idk if that is an option for you? Alternatively, you could set the long posts aside by reblogging, but saving as draft, so it’s easier to find?

Yeah that option doesn’t seem to be available on Android. :( It does have a 'copy to clip board’ option which I guess I could use to copy posts into google docs or something. Saving posts to drafts is a good idea. I always forget about that, and you always remind me! Hopefully the reading list thing will become an option for Android eventually. One of these days I’m going to get my laptop fixed too. Eventually.

I cannot possibly be the only person who has/had this problem, so I appeal to you, great cloud brain of the internet. I had a tracked tag. Then staff took away tracked tags, and left me with a link in my search box (which, okay, fine, whatever) and a dash that occasionally, without warning, vomits old posts from that tag. It’s not a very popular tag, so it’s reeeeeeeeally obvious when this happens. It’s not like “oh, I’ve seen this post before,” it’s like “god damn it, that was a birthday post from November, it is now February, do you not understand that this is out of date by now and I’m tired of seeing it every couple of weeks?”

I don’t even want to see this anymore. The tag is (mostly) dead. I want to just let it go. But I can’t, because tracked tags are no more and this thing is just… hanging around in some kind of stupid Tumblr limbo.

So here’s my question: How the fuck do I get rid of this zombie tracked-tag? 

I have the gif button now, but it just wants to let me insert one. How do I make my own?

The pain of not being able to like a post when it shows up on your dash, because you’ve liked it already.
