That moment, hopefully more than one but especially the first one, when you’re reading a fanfic and a character says something they never ever said in canon, but you hear it crystal clear in their voice in your head, when it hits so spot on in word use and syntax and characterization that you feel like you heard them say it, like it could have come straight from their mouth in canon even though it didn’t, and you know this one’s gonna be good

“I’m sorry guys, it turns out I’m not *insert gender/sexuality*, I was just a bit confused.”
Is perfectly valid. Want to use new pronouns? Go for it! Bi didn’t quite fit, but pan does?! Identify with that! If you stop identifying as something, I’m not going to judge! I’m just glad that you’re closer to finding yourself!
man you guys have got to stop getting mad at people for tagging your post as whatever annoying thing. tags used to be sacred. you weren’t supposed to see it. it’s the culture. “Stop tagging this as [character]”. No!! You have no right to make demands on me!! I can do whatever I want in the tags. Just cause Tumblr decided to set up a camera in my house and broadcast it live doesn’t mean you get to make fun of me for going “wheee!!!” when I get into bed it’s my fucking house and my fucking business!!!!!
I love weirdo queers I love queers with neopronouns queers with no pronouns queers with no labels queers with 100 labels queers with “contradicting” labels and queers who are brave enough to be themselves when the world and even other queers hate them for being themselves. I love queer people.
I’m concerned when people seem to be incapable of conceiving that a character can have a good heart while occasionally being a jerk, selfish, hypocritical, unfair, unreasonable, hurtful, etc etc because last I checked, that’s what real people were like
yeah! a character that only experiences one (1) unit of emotion without any range is… strange to read, to say the least
i think when trans people enter conversations about bathroom accessibility (physically and psychologically) we tend to focus a lot on ourselves, and we kinda end up forgetting that most washrooms just… aren’t accessible for a lot of cis people too. whenever i have conversations with people about washroom accessibility, most abled bodied people i talk to that say they use single stall washrooms for comfort or safety reasons are racialized people who do not feel comfortable/safe in multi stall washrooms. i know cis jewish men who used to avoid using washrooms with other men to avoid confrontations about whether or not they were circumcised. in general, many gender non-conforming people don’t feel safe in washrooms regardless if they’re cis or not.
of course, the people who ultimately get shafted the most due to this is disabled people who need these accessible, often single stalled washrooms. but i think it just goes to show that the issue of washroom accessibility requires not just making washrooms gender neutral/gender inclusive or making all washrooms single stall, but it requires an entire reframing in how we talk and think about bodies and the public and the issue of accessibility as a whole.
I hate Dr. Mora so much I hate him!!! I don’t care if it was the only way forward I don’t care if you didn’t realize he was sentient!! literally apologize for causing pain to someone you care about instead of acting fucking morally righteous and wronged!!!
“When you start to know someone, all their physical characteristics start to disappear. You begin to dwell in their energy, recognize the scent of their skin. You see only the essence of the person, not the shell. That’s why you can’t fall in love with beauty. You can lust after it, be infatuated by it, want to own it. You can love it with your eyes and your body but not your heart. And that’s why, when you really connect with a person’s inner self, any physical imperfections disappear, become irrelevant.”
