Take me out to the holosuite is so real because in middle school my class (gay art students and nerds) had PE with another class full of jocks. One time we were getting absolutely destroyed at floorball when one of the opponents accidentally hit the ball into their own net. We had been hyping our team up despite absolutely eating shit the whole game and when we saw that ball roll into the opposers net (mind you none of our own players had even made the shot) we completely lost it. I remember yelling and jumping up and down and hugging everyone around me. And the opposing team was like ‘whatever we still won’ but the win was ashes in their mouth because none of them even came close to the amount of joy we felt even though we lost. Suck it Solok!

DS9 companion quote from Sid. “O'Brien and Bashir didn’t get along back then. They loved not getting along. Over the course of the episodes, Colm and I developed the relationship purely out of what we thought we’d most enjoy hating about each other. And after that we were forever doing the same stuff to each other off set as we did on set, making life hell for each other, in the nicest possible way.”

Now, I know what some of you are thinking. How can we beat the Logicians? They’re all Vulcans. They’re stronger and faster than any one of us, except for Worf and our genetically enhanced doctor. But there is more to baseball than physical strength. It’s about courage, and it’s also about faith, and it is also about heart. And if there’s one thing our Vulcan friends lack, it’s heart.

Thoughts that keep me up at night and live rent free in my head:

I think it’s VERY curious that Solok and Sisko had a wrestling match…because who else do we know that has wrestled a Vulcan? That’s right! James Kirk!

And when did he wrestle Spock? Oh, yes. During Spock’s Pon Farr.

And did Spock get off by it? All that rolling around in the sand with your Captain??

Yeah. 😏😏😏 He did. It resolved his Pon Farr.

So….could Solok have been in the beginning phases of his own Pon Farr and then gotten off when wrestling Sisko? 😏😏😏

Yes. I do think that’s what happened. And because of obsessive Vulcan traits Solok never got over his first. 😩😩
