ID: Ten colourful gifs from TNG, showing Julian and Data in different scenes together. First Julian looks up at Data and shakes his hand excitedly. They’re working near the warp core with Geordi, and Julian takes Data’s pulse with a smile. Next, Julian looks at Data intently and Data thinks, quickly glancing at him. In the last two gifs, they’re walking the Enterprise’s corridors and exchange smiles. End ID.

ok so everyone in ds9 AND tng is a bit weird but the tng crew have the kind of weirdness that you share in an icebreaker where everyone gives a weird fact about themselves whereas the guys from ds9 all have the kind of weirdness that you DEFINITELY DO NOT SHARE in that icebreaker
[ID: screenshots from Star Trek DS9. Data is talking to Guinan.
Data: “I believe what you are seeing is the effect of the fluid dynamic processes inherent in the large-scale motion of rarefied gas.”
Guinan: “No, no, first, it was a fish, and now, it’s Mintonian sailing ship.”
Data: “I do not see it. It is interesting that people try to find meaningful patterns in things that are essentially random. I have noticed that the images they perceive sometimes suggest what they are thinking about at that particular moment. Besides, it’s clearly a bunny rabbit.”
