For some reason I feel like he would have the same vibes of my history teacher from high school, who was such a cool and nice guy and was very passionate about history. He always told the subjects of the classes as if it was some celebrity gossip (which it is) and it was such a funny and easy way to learn!
So yeah if you ask me Hob would be the teacher everyone loves and always gathers around him in every class to listen to his “wild teaching metod”, making people wonder if what he said is actually true (it is! he was there!) or if he was just making stuff up and no I’m totally not projecting…
Hob finishing a class, be like:
“And remember kids! Shakespeare was a fucking homewrecker twink!”
“No Mary, I don’t care if he’s your fave author, he stole my boyfriend’s heart in the 17th century!” and everyone laughs but he’s actually dead serious
