This is so true!
When I took photography in school we’d be expected to shoot at least 4 times as many photos as we actually needed for the assignment to make sure we got what we needed. Also, sometimes things look different through the viewfinder than they do blown up (my first semester was b&w so we had actual film). A shot you thought was good night be awful and vice versa. Photography looks easy, but there is a tremendous amount of work you don’t see
Oh my god yeah photography is one of my favorite hobbies but it’s so time consuming. I’ve had no time for it lately. Waiting for the right time of day, adjusting the shutter speed over and over again, lying down on the ground in public while holding a camera, color correcting the photos later in photoshop. It eats up so much time.
Hereโs my new model, Lauren Ashley! ๐ We took over 700 photos in our two hour shoot and thereโs JUST SO MUCH GREAT STUFF Ahhhhhh! I canโt wait to show you more! Sheโs fantastic. ๐ฅฐ
Want three more images from this shoot? My Patrons have a few extras in the intro post there!
