According to CNN, it was a guy with a knife, and he has been killed. Any gun shots heard were likely from police taking him down. Shelter in place orders have been lifted, but classes are canceled for the day.

At Least 9 Injured Amid Reports Of Active Shooter At Ohio State University
A spokesperson for the Columbus Fire Department confirmed to NPR that at least nine people have been transported to local hospitals. One of them was said to be in critical condition.
