I don’t know where the idea came from but I just have the idea Parmak in an attempt to get to know Julian aside from what Garak’s told him he asks about some fun silly date night idea and Julian comes up with the idea to make a pillow fort or something and so the two of them make a pillow fort and listen to music and talk and cuddle and Garak gets home and gets all undignified because they’ve ruined all the clean linens and made such a mess and WHY are you two LAUGHING at me?! But then he just decides to join them and he brings snacks and the three of them cuddle and talk and just enjoy a sweet domestic fluffy evening… I don’t write so this is a plea but if no one else will write this for me I might have to because I NEED it
Old married garashir! ✨
“There may be hope for you yet” as a synonym to “i love you”… garak saying this to bashir after their lunch and bashir laughing… harley and ivy getting together in TAS and ivy saying this after harley blows up a bunch of misogynistic assholes… kirk saying i believe there’s some hope for you after all, mr. spock after spock smiles…
What about Garak and Mila? If you’re still taking art suggestions.
Loving your art so much, particularly the way you do light and shadow. Like some of the ones with light from windows falling on the subject. They are so lovely because they give the sense of where the subject is so cleanly and simply. (If that makes sense; I don’t know art words.)
Thank you!!!!! Lighting is my favourite thing in art at the moment actually so I’m rlly happy u notice that!
Also yes, Garak and Mila! She’s telling him off for something or other and he’s loving it

LOKI SERIES
Episode 4
something about needless tragedy when its effectively written and how it works SO well. boromir taking like seven arrows to the chest and continuing to fight and it doesnt save merry and pippin. the fact that merry and pippin were needlessly taken bc the uruks thought they had the ring, which they didnt. there are people in this war willingly sacrificing themselves to distract sauron from frodo and then there are people given no time to think through a plan, doing the best with the few seconds they have and dying with the hope that their actions will protect the people they love. and sometimes it doesnt. boromirs epic final stand did not actually matter, did not give the hobbits a chance to escape. but his final breaths were given with love nonetheless.
sometimes heroism is not in whether or not your actions actually save people, sometimes the glory is simply in the desperate and heartfelt trying
“What did I ever do without you?”
“Not your hair or clothing, certainly.”
“Stop. Let’s eat.”
Julian took Garak’s hand and led him to the back of the narrow house. Garak had added rooms to the repurposed shed in a straight line–with the doors open at the front and back the breeze came through in the evenings and cooled them nicely. There was no power to be spared for individual houses, not yet. Julian didn’t mind the lack of cooling as much as the lack of replicators. He was generations past the eating of animal products on Earth, and it was not something he could wrap his mind around. A patient had given him a goat as payment once and it became a pet. Fortunately it was able to meet its caloric needs from the scrubby weeds in their yard. Choosing not to eat him was a choice others found strange but acceptable, but he could never justify, even to himself, feeding Zinyane. Although he sometimes scrimped on his own portions to sneak him a bite.
Garak closed his eyes and inhaled. “It smells wonderful.”
“It’s the usual stewed root veg, but I added some spices from the care package my mum sent. There was some cocoa and dried fruits in there too, so there’s pudding tonight.”
Garak’s eyes lit up and Julian was gratified. He had been so thin when Julian first arrived. He’d brushed off his concern with his usual glibness about having it to spare, but it still made Julian happy whenever he could manage to indulge him. He hated to think of how Garak had suffered here before he’d finally gotten over his moping and gotten himself to Cardassia.
