This is a great proverb.
Every time I see it it reminds me of a client who for some odd reason needed to tell me that according to the bible man is to have dominion over the animals. Sometimes you work on people and know you never want to put your hands on them ever again. Truly, an unpleasant person.
Then, he finished his man is superior to all living creatures talk by saying that no lion had ever written a poem.
I don’t argue with people on my table. I don’t engage in discussions because nobody needs my opinion on anything. I just rub people. He was strange and there is a whole tribe of that strangeness connected to the church he and the office I contract at belong to. (That’s a story for another time)
It wasn’t till after he left that the the perfect comeback to his religious ravings came to me.
Lions don’t write poetry, because they are the poem.
