Btw, I think he looks pleased because he buried a body under that tree. Or that Bashir told him the blue shirt brings out his eyes. Or both. 😁🦎💚🎨🌼

I wish we’d seen Garak’s “TNG-style” shirt for more than only one close-up scene. I think it looks nice on him.

And we only get a glimpse of the full thing when he walks into the turbolift.

Here it is. I totally think he just wanted to give himself a challenge by redesigning the TNG uniform to be more fashionable :P

As for why he picked the yellow, instead of blue or red? Because of Julian’s android buddy ;)

(Yellow actually does fit Garak the best, since that signifies Security and Engineering).
