Cardassians were literally designed around Alaimo’s neck, as he was the first person the makeup was designed for as Gul Macet in TNG.
I love that even in A Stitch In Time, Garak meets Dukat and is instantly like “who the fuck is this giraffe?”
By all accounts Marc Alaimo is a tool, but we can be grateful to his neck for the Cardassian ridges we know and love and write smut about (not his, though).
