I have a head cannon that Parmak’s glasses are technologically advanced and overlaying helpful read-outs onto whatever he’s looking at like telling him a patient’s blood pressure and heart rate and other useful data. Also they adjust in thickness, turning into reading glasses when he looks at something close - kind of like how a camera automatically knows how to focus.

Anyway, in ASIT, Garak joins Search&Rescue to find people who are still alive buried in the rubble on Cardassia after the Burn.

This man. Who is claustrophobic. Whose claustrophobia has been exacerbated by trauma and PTSD INVOLVING ONCE BEING TRAPPED IN RUBBLE HIMSELF.

Just fucking. I have so many feelings about this. I’ve read so many fics in which he’s doing admin. I’ve even written it! BUT ANDY ROBINSON’S MIND! Fucking hell. Search and rescue. With Dr. Parmak from “stared at him for four hours and got him to confess” fame. HAS ADMITTED HE STILL CAN’T LOOK GARAK IN THE EYES.
