the cutest things about jim and the things that make them very entertaining as a unit with their comically normal boyfriend are their extremely violent imagination and commitment to the bit. to this end i think jim & oluwande should do that half serious strangers meeting at a bar roleplay and i think jim should get really into their sexy but dangerous knife wielding rogue character to the point that they’re getting weird looks bc people think they’re genuinely threatening olu who’s like. babe it’s working for me but you have to dial it back like half way at least bc i think table 4 thinks i’m about to be murdered.
Because both shows have a beloved character named Jim, they both take place on a ship of some kind, and their fanbases have a lot of crossover, these days on Tumblr I am often playing a fun game called “how far can I get into reading this post before I figure out whether it’s about Star Trek TOS or Our Flag Means Death?”

vico ortiz is part of the izzy hands hivemind so i think jim’s season 2 arc should be like well since i’m here i might as well commit atrocities. so they start dressing speaking generally imitating izzy (including the voice) and just going fucknasty crazy. even izzy is slightly concerned. and then the instant olu steps foot on board again they’re like not evil anymore i want to be loved again :)
