after drawing Spock in that pretty dress, I decided I wanted to also draw Jim and Bones in a dress!! So here’s my boy first, I’ll get to Bones later! and yes, Jim’s dress IS super extra and glam, as he deserves <3333333
Jim likes shiny things and will pick up any small shiny object he finds to add to his random collection of small shiny things. This has -never intentionally of course- gotten the crew of the enterprise into trouble on more than one occasion because Jim picked up something he shouldn’t. The engineering crew has learned to keep all important nuts, bolts, screws, etc. out of reach of the captain because he might take them not realizing they’re important.
Spock doesn’t understand why Jim feels the need to do this, but he has started gathering shiny things to give to Jim. Of course he actually checks to make sure they aren’t important first. He has even asked Scotty to give him any broken screws and bolts that he won’t be able to use.
Every time Spock shows up and gives Jim like a little bottle cap or something Jim just gets this big grin and rushes off to put into his box of shiny things. And now Spock is just addicted to Jim’s smile and can’t stop giving him shiny objects.

I’m not talking about “smuggling his emotional support maniac onto a battle-ready starship in flagrant defiance of rules, regulations, and basic professionalism,” because he very obviously could not have not done THAT.
