what i find the most disappointing when thinking back on DS9 is that garak and weyoun didn’t have any scenes together before the last episode. can you imagine, the two biggest liars on the show. the two fanciest boys. it would have been altogether too much.

For the WIP ask meme-game! Still taking asks if anyone would like.
I am pretty certain I have spoken about Blue Shoulders in one of these WIP things before, so it might seem familiar.
Some visiting Cardassians from Dukat’s ship are shocked and appalled at the goings-on between Julian and Garak (whom they are observing from across the bar at Quark’s). The youngest one is particularly scandalised to learn that Starfleet medical and science uniforms used to have blue shoulders and that Bashir would have been wearing such a uniform whilst flirting with Garak for YEARS. Right in public.
“Exactly. Do you know what their uniforms used to look like?”
“No…”
“Blue.”
“The whole thing?”
“Worse. Only their shoulders.”
“That’s obscene!”
“Isn’t it? And the CMO used to sit with the tailor flaunting them. Just like he’s doing now. And the tailor wouldn’t even avert his eyes. Just goaded him into an argument as if they weren’t in the middle of a public venue.”
“No! But how could the tailor…in public! I mean, even him…
