-if you go to a haunted house and you aren’t scared, the actors don’t need to know. Just move along

-stop coming to haunted houses drunk and/or high. You make everyone uncomfortable and will probably get dragged out by security

-if you know that you have a FIGHT response to fear, please don’t come. Or keep your hands in your pockets. Stop hitting employees please.

-the haunted house is not the place to flirt, grope, try to kiss, or otherwise be rancid to employees and/or the animatronics. Everyone in the cast and crew WILL talk shit about you until you’re dragged out by security.

-speaking of not touching, don’t touch props or scenery! Stop it!!!

-most haunted houses do NOT allow pictures or videos. Stop it. Phones in your pockets ffs.

-most importantly: if you need to leave a haunted house because you’re scared, most places WILL have some kind of “safe word” with emergency exits. Don’t put yourself through a miserable time because you think you aren’t allowed to leave. Please, we will understand. Once you say you need to go, no ones going to be trying to scare you, we just want to get you out of the house so you’re comfortable.

Haunted houses should be fun! Don’t be the reason that they aren’t.
