I just saw a post that was rightfully criticizing how trans men are often excluded from gay spaces and treated in transphobic ways, such as calling us women. I was interested in reblogging it. Then it ended with “I guess all cis gay men think about really is sex huh.”

This is garden variety homophobia, repackaged as a critique of transphobia. Gay trans men and gay cis men fuck. Happily! Often! Sex is not the issue with transphobic cis gay men, it’s the transphobia. You are not allowed to be bigoted towards people just because they are bigots, because there are no acceptable targets for bigotry.
