Hey, new friend, let me tell you about the Encanto character all the fanfic writers are totally sleeping on.
I have named him Cacti Miguel, because Jorge is taken, and obviously average Encanto resident rolls in zero cacti per year but Miguel, here, is an outlier adn should not have been counted.
This cannot be an accident. This man looks like he deliberately went out and found a patch of prickly pears to roll around in. Even if we assumed he had the same accident-prone gene as Agustín and Mirabel, I really think that getting oneself into this situation had to take some skill.
Therefore, this is the one man in the Encanto who’s possibly enough of a disaster for me to ship with Bruno, and one day I’m going to write the story of their relationship, including the series of bad life decisions that led to the deep resignation on his face in this moment.
The first time we see his character (actually see him and not in a flash back or someone’s story), he’s in the darkness, his face lit by the green glow of his vision. Then he runs through the walls, never missing a beat, like a badass.
He has the most intense powers that you see and you have the visual element of his eyes glowing (and Disney usually uses lime green for villains)
Genuinely maybe they say this somewhere but, I keep seeing ppl saying Isabella is the eldest sister. And it confuses me but I get far more eldest sister vibes from Luisa. She even says in her song “Give it to your sister. Your sister’s older.” She has the whole weight of the family on her shoulders, that sounds like oldest to me.
Isabella is the pretty pink perfect child which is classic youngest sister. I mean I know Mirabel is youngest but I think it shows somewhat why Isabella is so frustrated with Mirabel. Bc everything was perfect and balanced in their family and then Mirabel was born and ruined her youngest status. Mirabel is extraneous and always in the way.
