i LOVE Elizabeth Warren, I voted her into office. But I DO NOT want her as VP or President. She’d be useless there. We need people like her in the Senate and House. She knows this, that is why she is not running for President even though there was a lot of people trying to pressure her too. Presidents can introduce and veto bills, but that’s it. We need people who will actually vote on these bills! Congress can override Presidential vetoes with enough votes, so its crazy important to have people like her in there. Freaking vote for your House and Senate representatives! Stop letting Republicans fill Congress! The President is a pretty useless position. Big media focuses only on the presidential race because they want you to focus on the election with the least power to change things here. Vote in your congressional elections. Stop letting Republicans hold this country hostage by refusing to pass budgets and stopping bills from going through. You want change? VOTE IN THE SENATE AND HOUSE ELECTIONS.
If the Obama years have taught us anything, it’s that no matter how much the President might want to change something, unless they have a Congress willing to work with them, nothing will change.
Voting in the Congressional elections is essential to see real change.
Leave your heartfelt, personal message telling Senator Elizabeth Warren why you think she should run for president and what her candidacy would mean to you.
“Since 1980, guess how much of the growth in income the 90% got? Nothing. None. Zero. In fact, it’s worse than that. The average family not in the top 10% makes less money than a generation ago. So who got the increase in income over the last 32 years? One-hundred percent of it went to the top 10%. All of the new money earned in this economy over the past generation — all that growth in the GDP — went to the top. All of it.”
Trickle-down economics? Are we still talking about this? Even if it is to debunk it, it’s sad. Reagan was president when I was born. Do you know how long ago that was? Almost thirty years. Can we please start talking about new effective economic policies? Please?
“Liberals, you want to send those evil employees who would dare work at a fast food joint then ya just don’t believe in, thought you wanted to, I dunno, send them to Purgatory or somethin’ so they all go vegan?”
