The KKK handed out voting reminders with white Life Savers

On Saturday night, Ku Klux Klan supporters distributed homespun flyers to encourage voting in and around the Sabine, Louisiana area, according to Louisiana blogger Lamar White Jr. A single white Life Saver candy accompanied the typed mailer. That’s not a subtle metaphor.

Nice.

This is what’s at stake in this election. Look how emboldened the racists are right now - how ecstatic they are with Trump.

Let this sink in. If it’s getting this blatant now, just how bad do you think it will get if Trump is elected President?

DON”T WASTE YOUR VOTE.

In case non-U.S. citizens are unaware of how fucked this election cycle is, this isn’t even just some awful and fringe extreme. The KKK’s official magazine has officially and openly endorsed one of the two primary candidates, and Trump has gone from vocally opposing one of the KKK’s previous grand wizards to really dodgy answers about potentially disavowing David Duke’s endorsement. Think back to that time a parental figure told you a friend was a bad influence, and how you just kind of threw a fit and said “UGH FINE, WE’RE NOT FRIENDS OR WHATEVER”, then continued to hang out with those dicks anyways. That’s what Trump is doing with the fucking KKK.

Loving the mint.

^^^ im dying at the mint. we need your racist vote. have a mint.

Hhhhh fuck my life, millenials are turning out in low numbers for early votes. I’ve seen several of you that have already voted but please, if you haven’t then go *before* the rush next Tuesday. You will lose less sanity and be less overwhelmed, if people try to bullshit you on ID shit you have more time to get what you need, the lines aren’t so long you can’t get your vote in, it’s all-around a much better experience.

If you don’t like Hillary, hold your nose and pretend it’s Bernie. We need Bernie-level turnout here and even Bernie has said it. Vote Hillary so Bernie has a shot at enacting some serious reform in the Senate. He can do amazing things in the Senate if he’s backed by other Senators and a President that leans liberal.

*gets down on my knees and prays to any gods that can hear me*

If you are in line before your polling place closes, poll workers have to allow you to vote. If you roll up at one minute before your polling place closes and are in line, they *have to* let you vote.

They will take your name down, while you are in line, so they know who showed up before they closed and who didn’t. They’ll use that to authorize you to vote even though technically your polling place is closed.

If there is a poll worker telling you that since your vote wasn’t cast before closing time that you can’t vote, they are impeding upon your right to vote and you have every right to report them for impeding your vote. If you are there before closing time, you can vote. No such thing as lines being too long to vote, so long as you show up at all before closing.

I wonder from where so many Americans get the idea that voting is supposed to be some expression of your deepest, most beloved values and virtues rather than a pragmatic, political move meant to shift your country as much closer to your ideal as possible. This strikes me as another example of extreme individualism. Voting isn’t about *you*. It’s about your city, state, and/or country. It doesn’t have to feel transcendently good deep down in your bones. It just has to *do* as much good as you can do, in this particular moment in time.

In two short days America will elect its next president and a woman’s right to choose hangs in the balance. The Supreme Court is the last line of defense for safe, legal, and accessible abortion, and the next president will determine the court’s makeup for decades to come.

Before you vote, make sure you understand the issues. Our friends at Refinery29 (@refinery29) gathered a panel of healthcare policy experts and doctors to answer questions about abortion access and reproductive rights.

If you support Trump, you’re racist.

If you support Trump, you’re sexist.

If you support Trump, you’re ableist.

If you support Trump, you’re homophobic.

If you support Trump, you’re transphobic.

If you support Trump, you’re xenophobic.

If you support Trump, you’re Islamophobic.

If you support Trump, you’re fascist.

If you support Trump, you are not a good person.

These are non-debatable. There’s no wriggle room. Loving your children or going to church isn’t going to cut it.

They are not insults. They are statements. They are facts.

There’s no ‘shade of gray’ here. There’s no take backs.

I don’t care what the Republican party used to stand for, I don’t care what your politics and beliefs and all the other bullshit you tell yourself to go to sleep at night. You vote for Trump, you are a fear mongering, hateful bigot, motivated by fear and anger and ignorance and hatred. Period.

It’s not about ‘different opinions’ or ‘political sides’ anymore. This is real life. Wake the fuck up.

Also please unfollow me if you passively or directly support him

Worried about polls tightening? Vote on November 8th.

Worried about Trump winning? Vote for Hillary on November 8th.

Worried about Republicans keeping majorities in Congress? Vote for Democrats for Senate and House on November 8th.

Worried about Trump winning your state? Vote for Hillary on November 8th.

Want to make Trump lose by a huge margin? Vote for Hillary on November 8th.

Want to make it easier for paid family leave, basic gun control, better health care, and LGBT worker protections pass? Vote for Hillary and the Democrats on November 8th

Want to make it easier for a more moderate or progressive Supreme Court nominee to be appointed? Vote for Hillary and the Democrats on November 8th.

Listen, if Obama’s same voters from 2008 & 2012 show up at the polls, if voter turnout is huge, then Hillary can win and Donald Trump will be defeated in 2016.
And if we’re able to have Democratic majorities in Congress, progress happens easier.

You all have to actually come out and vote for that to happen though, so vote.

I agree for the most part, except if you don’t want to vote for Hillary there are other options. You could vote for Gary Johnson, in some states they are allowing you to write in Bernie Sanders. There are options if enough people vote.

You are missing the point. If people are worried about Trump wining, DO NOT VOTE FOR GARY JOHNSON.

BERNIE SANDERS HAS EXPLICITLY STATED HE DOES NOT WANT YOUR VOTE. HE WANTS YOU TO VOTE FOR HILLARY CLINTON.

Third party candidates will not and cannot win this presidential election and it is endangering people’s lives by putting Trump close to the presidency. Vote for Hillary Clinton.
