hillary clinton told a joke at the al smith dinner tonight. it’s a very simple joke. and these two CNN panelists have completely misunderstood it at every turn. it is making me so god damn angry.

the gist of the joke is “when i look at the statue of liberty, i see all the things that make our country great [blah blah blah.] when donald trump looks at the statue of liberty he sees a 4. maybe a 5 if she loses the torch and the tablet.”

and this fucking moron is saying that the joke is funny because the statue of liberty looks like the number 4.

which is not what that joke is saying at ALL.

her follow-up to this joke was:

“you know what i think a good number for a woman is? forty five”

(because if she’s elected, she will be the forty fifth president)

and this dipshit on CNN is chuckling like “yeah, i think forty five is a good age too”

When sexists don’t understand they’re the butt of the joke because they’ve never heard a joke at their expense imo

dunno what you guys are talking about thats exactly how the statue of liberty looks

It’s really important that when you vote, you vote for more than just the next President.

Republican Senators Ted Cruz and John McCain have said that if Hillary Clinton is elected they will continue to block the nomination of any and all Supreme Court nominees.

Republican Senators have refused to do their jobs for months now, refusing to vote to either approve or reject the President’s nomination of Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court. We’ve been waiting for the Presidential election for this matter to resolve itself, yet here we are, with two prominent Republican Senators promising to continue this ridiculous obstruction.

In addition to voting for President, PLEASE ALSO VOTE FOR SENATE AND CONGRESS!

The President, as important as that position is, DOES NOT introduce or vote on legislation. That job belongs to the Senate and Congress. Currently, Republicans hold majorities in both houses, and get to decide the legislative agenda. We can change this with our votes.

Electing Democrats won’t magically fix our problems, but we have a somewhat better chance of influencing them to do what we want, including holding a damn vote to fill the vacancy on the Supreme Court!

(And this isn’t to say I’m a particular fan of Merrick Garland either, but he deserves a vote!)

Trump is only two points ahead in Texas now. If you’re in Texas and vote third party or don’t vote this year, I will personally never forgive you for stealing the joy of watching the GOP freak out at Texas going blue from me.

Fellow Texans: DO NOT WRITE IN BERNIE.

He literally does not want your vote, he literally wants you to vote for Hillary, and because of this he did not file to be an approved write-in candidate which means if you write him in your vote literally does not count.

For all voters in all states who were thinking of doing a Bernie write in.
