THE SANDMAN S01E10 - “Lost Hearts”
Well, mark me down as scared and horny
When the sigils don’t work and you have to call to tell your little sibling you’re visiting
Excuse me, but I really can’t believe we haven’t discussed this charming little earring of Morpheus from 1589 yet.
I mean, SERIOUSLY!? How did we miss it?
Okay, now imagine Hob kissing and biting his ear. You imagined? Congratulations, you’re horny.
God bless Tom Sturridge and his beautiful pierced ears.
Sandman doodles again 🖤
Hello, Mr. Gaiman! I read the Death anthology/collation/graphic novel back in high school with no previous knowledge of Sandman as a bigger story. Now, having fallen in love with the universe through the show, I’m back to the comics- reading the Sandman comics for the first time, and returning to Death.
Which brings me to this panel from The High Cost of Living:
Which of her brothers is she referring to? I love the idea that one of the Endless dislikes Disney’s Little Mermaid because of the inclusion of a happy ending. It’s a very human and endearing quirk and I’m just so curious who I should be picturing Death dragging into the theater to see it with her.
There’s only one of them that cares about stories, and the original shapes of stories. (But then, it was Shakespeare made the Geoffrey of Monmouth’s tale of Leir and his daughters into a tragedy…)
I can relate to Crowley.💤
That’s exactly how the conversation went right?

Hats off to Tom Sturridge ;
who gave the performance of a lifetime that caused an entire population probably ages worth of mental breakdowns. All while mute, naked and confined to a small space through sheer force of body language and eye contact.
