Hey guys. As of today - 10th September - I need exactly $273 for medication, food, transport, and what rent I haven’t been able to earn yet.
I am a 19 year old student who was kicked out of home for attempting suicide. I suffer from several severe mental illnesses, the most debilitating of which are agoraphobia and Borderline Personality Disorder.
I have been applying for jobs, doing odd chores around the neighbourhood, tutoring, proofreading, and selling my clothes for months to keep myself afloat. I have been doing this while dealing with long periods of going unmedicated and untreated, as well as studying part time.
I was arrested and charged with a class d felony (non-violent first offense), the cop who arrested me took one of the pills out of my pocket, then he took me to the bathroom and told me to pee, I said I didn’t have to, and then he said I’d rather piss here than at booking, and then he stared at my dick for three minutes, then he asked me if I was pee shy and then if I was getting hard, and then gave me one of the pills out of my pocket and told me that “this didn’t happen” and that “one less pill meant less prison time for me” and he didn’t report the pill on my arrest sheet
The cop told me to lie about having epilepsy because he didn’t feel like taking me to the hospital to receive my lamatrogine, but I did, so as punishment he locked me in the back of the paddy wagon handcuffed for five hours.
The ADA requested $5000 bail, but the judge said that was ridiculous and he released me without bail, and I have a court date in two weeks. One man who went before me was arrested for beating his girlfriend, the ADA requested $500 bail for him and a stay of protection for her.
If you can contribute to my legal costs please do so at :
cash.me/$AlecWhite
Please reblog and give anything if you can if you want to donate through another site please message me.
The charges are criminal possession and intent to distribute, even though the pills I had on my person were prescribed to me, they were in a sandwich bag and not the “proper container” I face 1-7 years in prison if the charges aren’t plead out lower.
Leola One Feather is a Lakota grandmother and activist. She has 13 different grandchildren on the rez she has to take care of. Their ages range from 3-17. Please help out this family in need by buying school supplies from their wishlist. Its all going directly to them!
Ok so update on Leola and her family. Almost everything has arrived and they are so so grateful to everyone who donated and want to thank each and every one of you personally!!!!!! 😁💜💙💚💛🌸🌺💐 And right on time because school is starting tomorrow!
There are basically only the laptops left on Leola’s wishlist. Leolas has two 17 year old half Lakota half Black granddaughters who are both going to college next year. There are used versions of the laptops we are trying to get them. The total comes out to $341.22. If everyone gave only $1 we could quickly raise that money!!!
Ok so the second laptop’s order was cancelled. I had never realized it and finally just talked to Leola to check in on them. We are currently $89.57 away from getting the second one used on Amazon. There are other things on the list as well if you want to help that way.
Please donate to Leola’s paypal so we can quickly get the laptop to her other granddaughter or buy other things from the list!!! I also set up an ebay account for her to sell her beaded jewelry on if anyone’s interested.
hey, so because of Irma i had to pay for a hotel room for my mom and siblings while i just try to ride it out at home. i should only have to pay for one night, but there might be some extra expenses with prices being jacked up, and i don’t get paid for another week, and i really don’t want to get overdrafted…
if y'all could help me out a bit that’d be great, and i’m sorry to have to ask :(
Hi, I’m a minor that lives in South Florida, which many of you know is where Hurricane Irma is heading over to soon. Me and my family, who are almost all immigrants from Cuba hardly have the money to be able to get out of here, and Irma is probably going to hit us really bad. We’re hoping that we can at least go to Orlando, just somewhere that’s more north. We really need donations to help us find a place to stay in, and because I am a minor, the only way I’m able to get money is by donations on PayPal. My PayPal is kamybroflivski@gmail.com . Reblogs are GREATLY appreciated, so even if you can’t donate, It’s super appreciated that you reblog this. I also wish that everyone else that is going to be affected by the hurricane stays safe and has somewhere to stay.
Hi. I’m here to ask all of you wonderful people to help. My niece Iga is 5 years old. She is full of life, wonderful kid. And I love her so so much. She has small problem with her eye. Or at least we thought it’s small.
My sister had very difficult and long (14 hours) labor. Because of the high pressure inside, Iga was born with big red spot on her horehead (that almost completely fade with time but she is still wearing bangs) and one smaller and a little closed eye. The doctor said that it will change with time.
Unfortunately she started having problems with the sight in that eye and now she needs surgery. But for free surgery she would have to wait more than a year and that’s too much of a risk. If we not hurry up she will stop seeing on one eye.
We need 500$ for the surgery. And we only have 10 days to raise it. Please if you can spare something, this is her paypal email: helpforiga@mail.com
Now we raised those 500$ but we need more. My sister talked with the doctor today and Iga will had to take antibiotics right after the surgery for two weeks and some other meds that are expensive and also every appointment with the doctor costs 90zł because he is private doctor. And I’m sorry for asking you guys again. But we have no money left. I didn’t said it before but the cost of surgery is 6,000zł but we raised most of that by myself. Those 500zł that is about 1600-1800zł was the rest of it that we couldn’t find anywhere.
hey everyone, so i’ve haven’t been on tumblr for a minute because i’ve been trying to get my life together, but unfortunately this mercury retrograde had other plans and we’ve had all kinds of important (as in: expensive and necessary) things falling apart on us which has drained our money just in time to totally not be able to pay for a whole bunch of car problems that have cropped up. we pulled together enough to cover most the costs but we still need at least $700 for repairs.
i know it’s a really hard time for all of us but if anyone has any money to spare we would deeply appreciate it. we live in a relatively isolated (and queer-unfriendly) area so we’re very dependent on this vehicle for transportation so all of this is putting us in a desperate spot.
i’m also selling writing commissions to raise funds. i can write on a variety of topics and in a variety of styles depending on what you’re looking for; i have a particular familiarity with and expertise in cultural criticism (film analysis, cultural trends, geopolitcs, etc) but i’m very flexible. if you’re interested, contact me via private message with some kind of writing prompt or topic–basically, whatever you’re looking to see written up–and an approximate length (500 words, 1000 words, etc, up to 10,000 words). the pricing is negotiable, no less than $1 per 100 words. if it’s on a topic i know nothing about i also need to charge for research time, which we can talk about before i get started.
if there’s something else you’re interested in, like an art commission or editing, contact me about it and hopefully we can work something out. nothing illegal / against paypal’s terms of service / etc.
i really appreciate anything you can do to help, and so will my housemates. thank you!
Guys, the first images of Irma’s level of devastation are coming out of Barbuda and it’s heartbreaking. The President of Barbuda says that 90% of the island is uninhabitable, upwards of 60% of the TOTAL population are now homeless because the hurricane destroyed virtually every building and home on the island, and that the estimated damage is valued at no less than $200 million dollars. That’s money a small island like that doesn’t have. They’re saying it’s going to take years to rebuild and Hurricane Jose is right behind Irma on the same path which means they could be hit twice. This is just one of the islands being affected.
Please, show up for the Caribbean like you did for Houston. There is no safety net for any of these islands including mine. They’ll rely entirely on foreign aid. Find local charities or global trustworthy charities (NOT the Red Cross) and make a donation asking them to aid the Caribbean. There’s whole countries being turned into rubble with no financial means to repair their infrastructures. They’re going to need help.
For the hundreds of people replying or in my inbox asking “Why not the Red Cross?!”:
Seriously, guess where I found all of those in two solid minutes of searching? Google. Even better, they didn’t charge me a penny for it.
Stop wanting things to be spoonfed to you. While you waited for someone to link you to sources, you could’ve done it yourself and already donated to people who desperately need it.
Because people are also asking where to donate instead of the Red Cross:
Habitat For Humanity [83% rating on Charity Navigator // Because with islands like Barbuda 90% destroyed and French St. Martin said to be 95% destroyed then people are going to need homes built]
Catholic Relief Services [90% rating on Charity Navigator // For those who would want to donate to a religious organization]
If there is a note or comments section on their donation page please do let them know that you would want your money to go to their Caribbean relief efforts. Houston and Florida have the US government backing them in whatever they will need but these islands will have very little except for these charities to fall back if they have any hope of rebuilding what seems to be entire countries in some cases. For the people who lost everything even a few bucks will go a long way.
For the most part I would suggest staying away from privately launched GoFundMes unless you know the person directly. Ultimately, you just never know where those funds are going to end up and if your money will be used wisely. Sure, the same can be said for charity organizations but at least there is a better shot at possibly helping through them. The five listed above are world known and have been studied by charity oversight organizations. It’s as close to perfect as we’re going to get.
Please donate if you can! [ Here’s ] a list of essentials to donate.
This’ll be queued on repeat for the next few hours.
well, since daca is getting repealed I have to renew my permit before October 5th which means I’ve got a month to pull almost $500 out of my ass so if you want to help with even just a dollar I would really appreciate it
