It looks like the Chickadee is done laying and started incubating today. I am not sure how many eggs she has but I can spot at least five. While she was still laying, she covered the eggs with fluff so they were invisible. Now that has changed, and that is why I think she is incubating. I love that she chose the nesting cavity spot where I can see it. The wren guard is on and things are looking good. The Bluebird is almost done with her nest as well.
Hip hip hoorah! We have a Robin egg. And I think the Chickadee laid her first one this morning as well. I added the Wren guard to the chickie box and they accepted it right away. Now both females will lay an egg per day until they are done, and then they will start incubating. The Robin cam is now live on my website and birdsy.com.
