Hey guys… So I was at Governor’s Ball Sunday night (meaning I missed the season finale :() and I spent the day in New York yesterday, so I stopped by Fraunces Tavern. For those of you who don’t know, it’s the oldest building in New York, and where George Washington bid farewell to his officers after the Revolutionary War had been won (among other things). Anyways, the museum’s main source about that night was none other than Benjamin Tallmadge! They had his memoir on display, as well as a ton of plaques with his quotes and portraits. I figured I might as well share it with my fellow Turn fans… I’m sure some of you all have seen it already but for those of you who haven’t, I thought it was pretty cool.
