My son’s pediatrician wants my son to be given a genetic test for autism. Is this even a good idea? How accurate would such a test be? Would a diagnosis be a blessing or a curse? I want to do what is best for James, not just what his doctor says to do. Any answers or suggestions for further research would be greatly appreciated.
