This bird is clearly Team Instinct.
Decided to jump on the Pokémon Go hype train at the zoo! Hey, if you can’t beat ‘em…
This is pretty awesome, actually!
Birding GO!
I dont usually tell personal stories but I feel I have to share this one.
Last night around 11:30PM I was outside checking out the pokestops/gyms in my community, there’s two gyms and two stops less than a block from my house, my community is known for being a safe middle-upper class community with multiple schools and parks. I didn’t think much of it outside someone may call the police over some person skulking around a church tbh.
Well I wasn’t even a block away from my home. Like 3min walk away and as I’m walking up to the community hall/ sports arena (both stops) a car oncoming pulled over into the shoulder/bike lane and the driver stared at me. I turned into the parking lot of the arena (which has a back gravel access road to dumpsters that happens to come out two houses up from my house on my street)
The car had a middle aged white man in it and drove forward pulled into someone’s drive way turned around and pulled into the school parking lot beside the arena and stayed there. I walked up the back access onto my street and got home. But this car had a bad muffler and you could HEAR him driving up and down the street and through the parking lot (possibly up the back access). He did this for probably 10-15 min before he turned up the road I live on and then down the street literally across from my home as I sat on my front deck.
I have no doubt the intentions of this person were less than savory and I’m telling this story to urge people playing Pokemon Go to stay very close to home or be accompanied by someone after dark. If I can have this kind of experience 3min from my home in a community generally regarded as safe it means it can happen absolutely anywhere.
So please please please stay safe if youre out pokemon hunting after dark.
Orig posted by @thepokemongolife with just the UL pic. I am reposting this PSA with the after pics/comments. Proud to be part of Valor. :)
Pass the word @officialteamvalor will you?

“Please do not vandalize property with pokemon GO tags.
It’s terribly disrespectful. If this community becomes frowned upon in society because of the ludicrous acts of a handful of players that will be extremely sad.
Buy a button. Wear a shirt. Get something to identify yourself as a member of a team. Just don’t ruin this experience for everyone else.”

This is amazing. Thank you Pokemon GO community!
Good on ya T-Mobile
Pokemon Go Warnings by Magdalena Proszowska
There is a really, shitty hoax going around now that if you email Nintendo proof of your disability they will unlock “secret” disabled permissions for Pokemon Go.
Please stop sharing this rumor and shut it down when you are able to. And if you have reblogged this rumor, please take the time to reblog a correction.
It’s an extremely mean-spirited response to disabled people’s disappointment that they can’t play the game due to mobility (and other) issues.
I’ve reblogged my disbelief in this several times, but let me make it clear again that this is a shitty hoax and no one should believe it. Please reblog every denunciation of it you see.
