lost tng B plot where riker is trying to teach wesley the trombone and he’s all nice and polite like yes sir i love this instrument the tromboneyes 😁 and then halfway through riker finds out he’s been learning oboe in secret instead and they have a dramatic falling out and wont talk to each other and the rest of the crew has to get involved. eventually they sit down and have a talk and riker gives wesley a speech about how he was too judgmental and it’s okay to be different and you have to find what you love and it’s a gay metaphor.. the episode ends with them having a stupid oboe trombone duet
so heres the situation i’ve been gnawing my way thru a pack of blue raspberry jolly ranchers like a deranged rodent and now i’ve stuck molars together and im sipping coffee through my teeth until theyre unstuck and i dont know if im having a bad time or an average time but it tastes really flavour.
the second i unweld my jaw im eating another jolly rancher
There are a lot of things to love about these 14th c. Italian birds (in order: hawk, ostrich & crane), but my absolute favourite is the total disregard for formatting:
the manuscript (BnF Latin 6823) also contains some stunned looking pigeons:
an example of how easy it is to start drawing a swallow and accidentally end up with a fish:
and the real reason I’m making this post, the pinnacle of scientific illustration, an image that stopped me dead in my tracks:
I am not going to tag the name of the bird, because I’m pretty sure I would get tagged as NSFW if I did, but I assure you their beaks are getting longer and it’s probably because of the UK’s obsession with bird feeders.
