Things that are funny, to me:
Last night I went to a pre-release event for the new Magic the Gathering set at my local game store. In my first match-up, against a nice lady who took her name from a Tamora Pierce novel, she asked what my name was again. "Seanan," I said. "SHAWN-in."
"Oh, like Seanan McGuire? The author?"
"Very much like that, since that's me."
Much shouting and laughing followed, especially because she didn't know me from reading my books--she knew me from Tumblr.
I love that. It also took me an embarrassingly long time to realize you were an author. Pretty sure I followed you because of a pony post.
I make publicists cry!

One day, perhaps against my will, I will find out whether Seanan Maguire and Ursula Vernon are the same person.
