Had a guy in drive thru today. Seemed about my age-ish? Told me he has never worked a job that didn’t give him weekends off by default. He said he needs those two days and doesn’t know how he would cope without them.

When I told him that I’ve never had a job that guaranteed me weekends or holidays, he got real serious and said “I’m sorry”

imagine never having worked a service job! or somehow only working at places that were closed on weekends! mind bloggling.

we both had a “oh this is how the other half lives” moment lol
