okay I am the last person to observe this but I just read this old writers' workshop Q&A that andy and sid did in 1998, and the level of respect and love Andy Robinson had for the slash shippers back in the day STILLLLL makes me insane. he pitched a garak/bashir episode in the mid-90s (a year or two before ellen lost her show for being gay btw) and then goes on to talk about it without a trace of irony. this wasn't even a fan event where he knew the garashir girlies would be around. he was just so convinced that the garak/bashir shippers weren't crazy for seeing what they saw AND he wasn't too afraid or self-conscious to name it. anyways mr robinson you dropped this 👑
