I have so much love for this scene. I love how Julian is obviously both genuinely concerned for Garak’s safety and jealous that Ziyal’s getting attention, but so badly misreading Garak because sure, Garak’s intrigued that another Cardassian’s moved to the station, but he doesn’t fancy Ziyal in the least. At this point he’s mostly assessing her as a threat and thus planning her murder in the back of his head, just in case it becomes necessary.

And Julian just is annoyed she’s catching Garak’s eye and does a jealous little pout.
