Star Trek is weird cause you just got to accept that in the world of Star Trek one-hundred different basically god aliens exist but only appear for one episode and just disappear and are never thought of again, lizards are apparently the successor to humanity, spiders are apparently ancestors, time travel is so common that proper time travel etiquette is taught in school, ghosts exist sort of, and more.

And I love it.
