today i got really mad out of nowhere about this and decided that if nobody is going to talk about these birds and their conservation, i will. the bali myna is a small bird found only in bali. they are critically endangered - fewer than 100 adults exist in the wild.(and there’s around 1000 in captivity) the biggest threat towards the bali myna is likely its demand in the captive bird trade - they can fetch extremely high prices on the black market.’
