God now I’m thinking about Rugal and Ziyal bonding over their shared connection to Bajor while on Cardassia 😭 I kinda want Rugal to end up back on the station somehow. That child did not want to leave! Let him come home! Tho idk about rejoining his parents unless they agree to get some fucking counseling, because it is NOT OKAY TO TEACH YOUR KID TO HATE HIS HERITAGE. Anyway. Maybe Rugal just stays on the station with Ziyal and Kira. Or he lives with the O'Briens? Altho Keiko is hardly ever there in the later seasons. I hope Rugal and Garak could patch things up, and Rugal could realize there are quality Cardassians.
