If you’re in the U. S. and you have any interest in ever pursuing higher education or just not making it impossible for other people to do that, consider calling your reps and telling them you oppose repealing Section 117(d) of H.R.1 (Tax Cuts and Jobs Act)

The senate has a different version of the bill but all the same. Please please call and register your concern about the Tax Cuts and Jobs act will affect students. Tuition waivers are not income and should not be taxed. We need those deductibles.
