The world record for longest speech was won by Lluís Colet, a 62-year old Catalan man from Perpinyà who spoke for 124 hours straight (5 days and 4 nights).
The speech was delivered in the Catalan language and was about the topic of Catalan culture and artists.“This is a big day for me and I dedicate this record to all those who defend the Catalan language and culture” he said, his voice fainter after five days of nonstop talking. [x]
