For an ongoing series entitled entitled Jarred & Displaced, Finnish experimental photographer Christoffer Relander uses double exposure photography to place favorite locations from his childhood into jars.

Rather than using Photoshop to combine images, Relander works the traditional analog way and creates dreamy double exposures in his DSLR camera.

“This project was not created or layered in an external software,” Relander writes. “Images are not put into physical jars (as is misunderstood sometimes), only blended into one photograph.”
