people will excuse a white terrorist for killing dozens before they stop generalizing a whole religion and demanding them to be banned
Inciting fear and hatred around Muslims and POC, specifically brown people, makes it easy for the U.S to justify Iraq and Syria. Simple as that. They are not going to change the narrative as it is advantageous to their current foreign policies.
