I know Airbnb is not a dating service and in fact one of my greatest fears about it is that there are people out there trying to use it that way but also, call me hypocritical, I DO think if you’re a beautiful farmer with 3 big dogs who’s smiling handsomely in his Airbnb profile picture and you hand-built a sexy treehouse on your land for guests and you conspicuously don’t mention a significant other and use the word “I” rather than “we” as in “My house is across the field” or “I am happy to recommend activities and hiking routes nearby” or “You are welcome to help my staff and I milk our cows – children really enjoy this!”, i DO think, in that case, that it would be courteous to indicate whether you are open to falling in love with a very sad woman while teaching her how to work the land, idk, just seems polite.
