If you, like me, are heartbroken about what’s happening in Puerto Rico: Call your Congresspeople

If you, like me, are terrified about the possibility of nuclear escalation with North Korea: Call your Congresspeople.

If you, like me, are worried about the fires in the Northwest: Call your Congresspeople.

If you, like me, are furious about state/police violence against people of color: Call your Congresspeople. (And your state and local reps!)

If you, like me, are enraged at the number of people living (and dying) in poverty in one of the richest nations in the world: Call your Congresspeople. (And your state and local reps!)

These are preventable tragedies. Regulating guns, providing timely and effective aid, regulating corporate pollution emissions to combat climate change and its role in increasing the frequency and severity of natural disasters, requiring a livable minimum wage, providing health care for all citizens, protecting the lives of all citizens - this is what government is supposed to do. This is what we can demand of our government. Unless we demand it, these things will all keep happening.
