Also, because I just marathon read a bunch of workshop stories and lit mag submissions:

Fellas.  If you are describing a female character, you don’t need to describe her breasts!  You don’t need to point out how they’re the only womanly and attractive thing about her!  You don’t need to fill in your readers on their well-shapedness!  You don’t need to comment how they’re the same size as the male narrator’s hands or how they look in her red dress!

And, actually.  Fellas.  Take a step back.  If you’ve physically described your female characters but have only described your male characters by their personality traits and quirks–you are doing writing wrong.
