“”Fighting autism”” is literally fighting the existence of autistic people. When you say that you’re fighting autism and won’t let it take your kid, what you’re really saying is they you’re fighting your kid’s very existence and wish you had any other kid but them.
It’s not love, it’s not perserverence, its abuse and hatred of your own child.
