WORKERS from fast food restaurants across the UK could strike over pay, Daily Star Online can reveal.

The president of the union supporting the staff said hundreds of fast food workers have signed up since hearing of the strike.

They join the 20,000 others already signed up.

Ian Hodson, national president of The Bakers’ Food and Allied Workers Union, told Daily Star Online that he fears there will be more strikes unless pay is improved.

He said: “We have had a significant uptake in membership since announcing the McDonald’s strike.

“People are fed up of the poor wages across the whole industry.
