hey everyone, so i’ve haven’t been on tumblr for a minute because i’ve been trying to get my life together, but unfortunately this mercury retrograde had other plans and we’ve had all kinds of important (as in: expensive and necessary) things falling apart on us which has drained our money just in time to totally not be able to pay for a whole bunch of car problems that have cropped up. we pulled together enough to cover most the costs but we still need at least $700 for repairs.

i know it’s a really hard time for all of us but if anyone has any money to spare we would deeply appreciate it. we live in a relatively isolated (and queer-unfriendly) area so we’re very dependent on this vehicle for transportation so all of this is putting us in a desperate spot.

i’m also selling writing commissions to raise funds. i can write on a variety of topics and in a variety of styles depending on what you’re looking for; i have a particular familiarity with and expertise in cultural criticism (film analysis, cultural trends, geopolitcs, etc) but i’m very flexible. if you’re interested, contact me via private message with some kind of writing prompt or topic–basically, whatever you’re looking to see written up–and an approximate length (500 words, 1000 words, etc, up to 10,000 words). the pricing is negotiable, no less than $1 per 100 words. if it’s on a topic i know nothing about i also need to charge for research time, which we can talk about before i get started.
