friendly reminder: it takes time to truly, sincerely, and honestly fall in love with your fat body. to have less insecurities about your stretchmarks, your double chin, your thunderous thighs, cankles, big arms, chafing, or what have you. even when you unlearn to hate your body, there is still room for old feelings to creep in and that’s okay. i know fat positivity in our communities can feel so forced and seem kinda militant and dismissive of negative feelings about our bodies sometimes. it’s a battle out there but just know regardless of the constant booming positivity out there, your feelings are valid and crucial to your growth.

And remember, if body love seems out of reach, striving for body neutrality can also be a path to healing.
