Memo to parents, children, Santa Claus, and all interested parties: a book does not have a gender. Whether it’s pink and sparkly and wearing a tutu, or covered with grass stains and wearing a baseball cap, a book is a book is a book and anybody can read it, boy, girl, or chimpanzee!
