here’s what kills me about this, and about the whole “patriotic rich white guy who doesn’t pay taxes” trope in general.

taxes help fund public schools. taxes help fund fixes to american infrastructure. federal taxes help keep america healthy by funding the public health care sector. federal taxes help pay the national debt that you love to gripe about. federal taxes help feed america’s most impoverished. federal taxes go to veteran benefits, police training, the space program, nature protection programs, and a whole lot more.
