Tré Melvin on Police Brutality
It´s Black Lives Matter because in the US young black men (sometimes children) get murdered by the police for no reason and nobody wants to prosecute the police officers who did it because to them it´s just a black man and they don´t care. White people are privileged because no one looks at them walking down the street and thinks they’re “thugs”. A police officer will think twice before shooting them because there might actually be real consequences for shooting a white person. A white person would never get pulled over and have to explain how they can afford a car and nobody would call the police if they went to look at a house. That is what you call privilege.
